Eichelmann German Wines 2026

This year, we were once again awarded 4.5 stars in the Eichelmann wine guide.

‘While all six Rieslings have very good potential, the wines from the Jesuitengarten and Pechstein vineyards in particular are among the best Rieslings in the Palatinate this year...’

93 points 2024 Jesuitengarten Forst Riesling GG, VDP.Grosse Lage ‘...has power on the palate and a fine salty trace, is tart, stony, straightforward and enormously persistent...’

Vinum Wine Guide 2026

Once again, our winery has been awarded 4 stars in the Vinum Wine Guide Germany 2026.

‘All the rest is Riesling. And you could pick any one at random, it would taste good. Consistent from top to bottom... The sides are one big ride.’

Pechstein, Jesuitengarten and Langenmorgen GG were each awarded 94 points.

Falstaff Wine Guide Germany 2026

Falstaff also awards our winery 4 stars.

"In recent years, Sabine Mosbacher and Jürgen Düringer seem to have fine-tuned their craft even further, giving their wines even more depth and definition than they already had. The latest culmination of this development is a 2024 Langenmorgen that took our breath away: what density, what minerality and what coherence in this wine."

96+ points 2024 Langenmorgen Deidesheim Riesling GG ‘The acidity and an almost electrifying tactile minerality form the backbone.’

94 points 2024 Ungeheuer Forst Riesling GG ‘Appears proportionate and well-balanced – with very good potential.’

Der Feinschmecker: The 500 best wineries in Germany 2025

One of the best wine producers, 5 gourmet points

"Sabine Mosbacher-Düringer is more than just a winemaker. The trained oenologist also has a Diploma of Wines and Spirits, giving her a comprehensive view beyond the Palatinate into the wider world of wine. This is perhaps the reason why she also plants Cabernet Blanc and sends it for tasting – not many wineries of this class show such openness to new varieties... Everything else is Riesling, and what Rieslings they are: sometimes fresh and lively from the Forster Elster, sometimes lean and mineral from the Musenhang, sometimes juicy with fruity richness and mineral saltiness from the Wachenheimer Gerümpel.

Henri's Wine Guide 2026

This wine guide also awards our winery 4 stars.

91 points 2024 Forster Ungeheuer GG Riesling                                                                                              "The juicy, yellow fruit jumps out at you. Very lively and active with an intense floral character and lush juiciness that gives it length."

Meininger's Sommelier 04-2025

Sascha Speicher and Christoph Niklas award our 2024 Pechstein 94 points.
‘... very full-bodied, firm and powerful, pleasantly old-fashioned.’

SZ Süddeutsche Zeitung 01.09.2025

‘... Georg Mosbacher (Forster Ungeheuer 2024) is somewhat unjustly flying under the radar...’

Stuart Pigott

characterises our Ungeheuer 2024 as a ‘masterpiece of underplayed power and structure.’

Felix Bodmann

"Next, I'm looking forward to two great Langenmorgens... Different, but equally powerful is the wine from Mosbacher: very spicy on the nose, spicy austerity on the palate too, partly due to a yeasty note that will surely disappear soon, but there's also a smoky, stony component that I find very appealing.

Marcus Hofschuster and Kim Schreiber tasted some of our mature GG wines and confirmed the great development potential and ageing capacity of our wines.

94 points for 2019 Jesuitengarten Forst Riesling VDP.Grosses Gewächs dry ‘…… persistent and dense on the palate …… mineral backbone, has energy and depth …… destined for many more years.’

95 points for 2012 Jesuitengarten Forst Riesling VDP.Grosses Gewächs dry ‘Ripe, dense, extremely juicy fruit, very fine, ripe acidity, slightly yellow spice, light texture, herbal notes on the palate, nutty tones, persistent and deep on the palate, lots of minerality..’
