Geographic situation
The Paradiesgarten is a hillside site in the west of Deidesheim. It is located above the village on the edge of the forest at approx. 120-170 meters above sea level. The forest protects the site from severe weather conditions such as heavy rainfall and hail. The soil is made up of a varied soil structure, but mainly sandy loam and red and white sandstone.

The vineyard name was created in the 1950s due to the paradisiacal location and was officially entered in the vineyard register in 1971
