Newspaper report in the "Welt am Sonntag"
In its article "Recommended Palatinate Wines, 2008 Vintage" this well-known German Sunday newspaper lists our "2008 Forster MUSENHANG Riesling Kabinett" as being characteristic: "clear and full of minerals - that is the Mosbacher style" (p.89).

2010 GAULT MILLAU Guide to German Wines
The new Gault Millau Guide to German Wines confirms that "2008 was again an excellent Riesling year for the Mosbacher team" (p.540). We are awarded 4 out of 5 possible "grapes" and rank once again among the top wineries in Germany.

EICHELMANN 2010 Germany's best wines
Once again we have been awarded 4.5 stars in the new Eichelmann Guide and our 2008 collection of wines is described as "very homogenous ... with the superb 'Grosse Gewächs' wines at the forefront" (p.630).

FALLSTAFF 5/2009
Renowned wine journalists sampled our latest 'Grosse Gewächs' (grand cru) wines, four of which in particular were graded very highly with 91 to 93 points by the Austrian wine magazine "FALSTAFF". Our '2008 UNGEHEUER Grosses Gewächs' is described in high tones by Peter Moser as a multi-facetted wine with plenty of room for further development with its "depth of minerals" and "finely concentrated texture".

In her article "Female winegrowers on course for further success" the sommeliere Christina Fischer introduces Sabine Mosbacher-Düringer with the words "Perfection is a must for Sabine Mosbacher-Düringer from Forst, whose Riesling wines - for example from the top UNGEHEUR vineyards - are perfect examples of a clear style and of powerful depth..." (p.116).

In the "Food & Drink" section of the Financial Times of 13-14 June 2009 Jancis Robinson comments on the 2008 wines in Germany and lists us as one of the German "producers of successful 2008s".

"The Wine Guide"

The Swedish sommelier Andreas Larsson reports on the 2007 Grosse Gewächs (grand cru) wines and describes our 2007 UNGEHEUR Grosses Gewächs as an exceptional wine: "a very intense and pure nose, elegant with minerals, young stone fruit, superbly pure and fresh, really long finish, well-made". Our three 2007 Grosse Gewächs wines - PECHSTEIN, FREUNDSTÜCK and KIESELBERG - are also amongst his "top picks" (Winter issue 2008-09, p. 62).
