30.01.2010 // Jancis Robinson visits the Vinissima Forum in Bad Kreuznach
An absolute highlight of Sabine Mosbacher-Düringer's presidency was the visit of the internationally renowned British wine journalist Jancis Robinson (www.jancisrobinson.com) to the Vinissima Forum (German Women in Wine) in Bad Kreuznach. Jancis spoke to the 200 guests about "the role of women in wine reviews".

04.12.2009 // Achievement Award of Bad Dürkheim
At the Wine Awards ceremony of the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Agriculture our winery received an Achievement Award for its outstanding overall achievement.

21.09. - 15.10.2009 // 2009 Wine harvest
The 2009 wine harvest took place under ideal conditions. Dry Indian summer days with plenty of sunshine were ideal for the grapes in their final maturing phase. The young wines, some of which are still fermenting, are fruity and elegant with a well-balanced acidity and fine level of concentration. The yield was altogether about 15% lower than in the last few years.
04.05.2009 // Forst Riesling and more...
The weather gods had mercy on the Forst winegrowers once again and our annual combined presentation up in the vineyards took place in bright sunshine. As the 1 May public holiday fell on a Friday this year, the presentation was extended to three days and more than 1,000 guests visited the extended outdoor bar. Walking tours around the various vineyard sites were again organised and the mixed village choir of young and young at heart singers provided a melodious finale on the Sunday. Next year the presentation will take place on 1-2 May.

31.03.2009 // German - Israeli winery partnership / TWIN Winery
On the occasion of the "Prowein" exhibition in Düsseldorf our partnership with the Israeli winery Vitkin was sealed by the handing over of a TWIN Winery shield. Greater understanding of each other, the mutual exchange of expertise and a deepening of friendship are the inspiration behind such partnerships - which other wineries, such as Heymann-Löwenstein, von Racknitz, Georg Breuer and Blankenhorn have also sealed with Israeli winegrowers.

09.02.2009 // Interview with the women's magazine "brikada"
At the beginning of February some VDP (Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates) "Grosses Gewächs" (Grand Cru) producers stopped for a presentation in Munich as part of their tour of Germany. In her dual role as both a member of VDP and also the Chairperson of "Vinissima - Frauen & Wein e.V." Sabine Mosbacher-Düringer was interviewed by the women's magazine "brikada" on the subject of "VDP: Quality under the emblem of the eagle".

04.01.2009 // 28. State Achievement Award
In December 2008 our winery was honoured for the 28th time with a State Achievement Award granted by the Chamber of Agriculture for Rhineland-Palatinate. This is an award given to businesses achieving the best overall results in a region. Altogether 28 out of nearly 600 participating firms received a State Achievement Award in 2008.

02.11.2008 // A book portraying "Ladies and Wine - The best female winegrowers in Europe and the wines they produce"
The book provides a detailed portrait of 42 European female winegrowers. Sabine Mosbacher-Düringer is portrayed in the section "Passion and Perfection" with the words "whoever would like to know more about women and wine should ask the Chairperson of Vinissima. And whoever has a weakness for the excellent Palatinate Rieslings should do so too because Sabine Mosbacher-Düringer runs one of the best wine estates in the Mittelhaardt region..."

11.03.2008 // "The glowing Ungeheuer monster"
At the beginning of its centenary celebrations the Palatinate section of VDP orchestrated the simultaneous illumination of numerous vineyards throughout the Palatinate. On two consecutive evenings viewers in Forst were offered a sharp and precise graphic representation of our most renowned site "Forster Ungeheuer" ablaze with light and colour. Furthermore, on the Sunday evening the "Stuttgart Brass Ensemble" played up in the vineyard to an audience of around 300 swinging to the sound of the trombones.
